Pricing
Every license plate restoration project is unique, with different levels of work required depending on the plate’s condition. We specialize in restoring California and Washington license plates but also work on plates from other states. Please review the pricing details below. Turnaround Time
The average restoration process takes approximately 3 months, though this may vary based on the plate’s condition. Plates needing extensive rust removal or repairs for dings and slight bends may require additional time. We focus on high-quality craftsmanship to restore your plates as close to their original beauty as possible.
Requesting an Estimate
We offer free estimates for all restoration projects. Simply send us clear photos of your plates so we can assess their condition and provide an accurate quote.
Base Restoration Cost
$100 per plate + Return Insured Shipping
This Includes:
- Removing old paint and rust.
- Straightening slightly bent or dinged plates..
- Base coat, and roll coating the lettering to match the original design.
Additional Costs
- Heavy Rust or Damage: $25–$50 per plate
- Plates with moderate rust: $25 for light filler and sanding.
- Plates with severe rust: $50 for multiple rounds of repair to restore a smooth finish.
Metalwork Repairs
- Minor dings and slight bends.
For significant structural damage, additional charges may apply, which we will outline in your estimate.
